    Default Birthday wish of big fish


    Hit the lake today with Jigginlow to find some big birthday slabs. Fishes mostly new to me water in the Osage. Took a little bit to find the pattern but then it was a free for all on big fish. Blk/Pink Yum F2 tubes and MidSouth Red glitter/Chartruse tubes. Caught fish from 6-20 ft with all the big ones coming from 6-9 ft and had to be a double or triple tree. Caught 4 fish off of a triple tree in 6ft and all over 1 lb and two over 1 1/4 lbs. We should have had an easy 8 1/2 lbs on best 7 today. Let them all swim after pics so tree dipper and net king can find them at the next CDC tournament.

    Sounds and looks like your wish came true buddy.Good job.
    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
