Truman via Kayak... 4/28
Launched at Shawnee Bend to the wier. Two 12' poles, double/triple jig rigged, trolled over the hump until I scored a limit of mostly big blacks. Only one kept under 10".
Launched below the dam, drifted cut shad all the way to city park in Warsaw. One short of a limit with the biggest a fat female at 8-9#. Nothing like feeling that "thump" then seeing that rod bend deeply when sitting right at water level in a kayak.
Good day of fishing, five quarts of fish put up with cat for dinner tonight... fresh... never frozen.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
