Sounds like a good day for sure. Huge bass tournament today so I am sure it was busy down there.
After turkey hunting this morning the boy and I decided to go fishing, we fished the lower end of the lake which I rarely do. Started off around the dam fishing around 10 ft down, we caught several Black Crappie then decided to go up the Grand Arm to see if there were any fish on the bank, we caught several males casting to the bank and the females were out a little bit about 8 ft down.
We ended up going back to the dam and finished out our limits, we had about half black half white crappie and with only one spawned out white crappie with several more with bloody eggs, the black crappie did not even look close to spawning. I remember now why I don't fish the lower end of the lake, I still feel like I'm going up and down from all the boat wakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a good day on the water
Good report you sure did better than i did today on stockton. No matter how many fish you can see doesnt mean you can make them bite.
Good report I too get that wavy feeling till the next day everytime I go fishing weather I'm on LOZ with lake lice flying by or on a clear glassy day anywhere.
New goal 16" crappie by December 30
