Could have been worse you could have been working
Followed up Wednesdays great day on the lake around the gravois arm and it was TERRIBLE!!! Put in around 8 at rock harbor resort and fished and fished and fished and just didn't catch squat. Amazing what a day difference makes. Fished for 5 hours on the lake and ended up with only around 20 with three guys on the boat. It was pretty brutal with the wind. The only good thing that made the day better was when we got back to the resort we fished the empty boat slips and I finished my limit off there pretty quickly but it still took October 8 hours to finish off two limits and the third guy just quit. Don't know if I have ever fished that hard to get 9" crappie. Didn't matter where we tried it was just flat tough, we all had different colors fishing different depths trying to find a pattern and I just wasn't working. Went all the way up to Indian creek thinking we could get a few and nothing happened. Went from banks to docks to under docks and brush piles deep to shallow but they were scarce. Oh well, I guess one good day is better than no good days.

I've heard guys are trolling cranks and doing well on LOZ already. Did you catch any females that were spawned out?
