    Default Truman 4/12

Headed up river from Bucksaw and had a lot of trouble putting keeper fish in the boat.
Bite was tough for our boat and several others we talked to. Could see the fish on the radar but couldn't entice them to bite and stay on. Only scratched out 20 keepers.
Slow Trolled, dipped and cast to the banks. Fished 2ft - 20ft. Liked the minnow a little better than the jigs.
Better fish were 8 - 10ft and tight to cover.
A little dissappointed after putting $80 in fuel to make a one day turn.
Did have a 1 3/4 which made my buddy's day.

It was good seeing ya and talkin to ya at the ramp. Tried to call ya when I was done fishing. I had 15 more you could have taken home. Wish I could have caught a 1 3/4. We need to get together sometime.

$80 in fuel divided by 20 keepers is only $3.96 per fish..... But you can't put a price on fun.... sounds like you guys made the best of it.....I'm Better at fishing than math

Sounds like you got a few anyway. Truman can be a beast at times.
