black/chartruse slabbuster was the jig of choice. on the water at about 10:30 and headed up the grand, fished a cove on the north side, 8 boats already there so Jackson Branch is no secret... Darrell had 6 before I had a bite,and he was in the back of the boat... ran into vicn from KC area, visited and he gave me the dickens, I like him,,,,
I lost 4 at the boat, one in the trolling motor, big ole fish of course. I finally started catching and caught up with Darrell but he beat me by a couple,,, one nice day on the water for sure.... can wait till next trip but it will be hard to wait....
