Lake of the Ozarks - Tan Tar A
Taking the wife and kids the first week in April for a few days and going to stay at the resort. Thinking I'm going to pull the boat with me to get in some fishing when they are sleeping or when I can sneak away.
How is the fishing close to there? I'm assuming spider rigging will be the ticket?

I would start in the mouths of coves and work back, hitting the docks with deeper water close by. You might try rigging the front of the docks just depends how the fish are setting up by then. There are alot of folks that fish LOZ more than me on the board may be they will chime in. Good luck!!!

There are some big docks at tan tar a for guests who rent homes at the resort that are pretty good on either side of the main resort cove. Been a couple years since i fished em but they was always good to me. Dont do much riggin so cant help you there. I would find docks with brush up the sides and under the walk ramps and fish laydowns along the banks if the water is up. Should be pretty easy to get on them by then. Good luck

Man just about any bank around then will be holding crappie. By then they should be super shallow. Hit it hard and often limits should come pretty easy. PM me if you need a buddy one morning to help you drag them in.
