Double Report

Went this last week a couple of different times and luckily did pretty well. The first place I went with a friend of mine from school and we hit Bagnell Dam goin for walleye and crappie. We caught no walleye but did come home with some crappie. They barely hit it you almost just had to watch your line because they werent aggressive at all. Couldn't get a hit unless your jig was tipped with minnow. Did catch one chubby bass too. Thought it was a walleye and got pretty excited but no dice. Caught all of them on white and chart tipped with a medium minnow on a 1/16 about 5 to 10ft down in 12ft of water.

Then went with the uncle to a different spot and I've been hearing all these good things about Bobby Garlands blue ice baby shad. Well they must be good because everywhere I went they were sold out of them. So last time I was at the pro shops I bought something that looked a little similiar. The crappie loved it. Didn't have to tip it with anything because they're heavily scented. Hope everyone gets a chance to get out there and get some fish for fridays.Good luck good fishin and God bless.
