jig color did not matter,,,, but blue/white did the best,,, fish were in 22 ft of water 10 ft down... slow trolling... fished pretty bob, sand branch,,,and did not get a fish, fished cedar creek did not do real well, but a couple,,,, fished the flat out front of angle cove, stayed in 22 ft of water and you would get a bite, move to deeper or shallower and it slowed down a lot,,, met and talked to a couple lurkers,,, one who fished with jerkeylog... nice guy,,, told him where and how I did it,,, 30 keepers.... he was getting ready to leave, but after talking to me,,, he headed to the sweet spot I told him about.... got to say hi to Bigby... and ED....
I had two over 12 and the rest were 10 and 11 in. I kept 10 fish,,, the ones that were 10 were pretty skinny and I thought I would let them go. and I did....
water was 44dg and pretty clear from Jackson branch down,,,and pretty dark up stream....
Now let me warn you when you step on the dock early in the morning,,,, be carefull.. you could slip and load the boat with your butt real quick.... trust me......
