    Default

    Friday: 4/15
Cape Fair North of 76 Bridge
    Water Temp. 68.5 – 70

Males on the shoreline 4 – 8 ft.
Females still in the main channel suspended the same depth.
Focus under the schools of shad.

    Hot Colors
Sunny: Orange / Char or Black / Char
    Cloudy: Smoke worked well

Lost track of the count of fish after 30. A lot of shorts 8 – 10 inches. This is good news for the future.

Reel, stop, let fall and do it again was the trick.

    Saturday: 4/16
    Cove South of point 14
    Females suspended 5 – 12 ft. in 25 – 30 ft of water.
Used smoke all day with the cloudy conditions.

    Bigger fish. Most were 11 – 13”.
Reel and let fall worked well again.
Dead Weight light biters. Not a lot of aggression.
    Pulled a couple limits.
