Default long shoals area on truman

fishing a small company tourney down there on sat. the 22nd. i haven't fished the area very much. hoping someone can give me a few good places to hit for big slabs.

i always keep a Hot Spots map handy. any creeks, coves, shoots, color, depths. etc. would be appreciated.

    thanks,

    bob

    Bob,
The best in that close area I have found the last two weeks is clear creek go back to tebo and left lookout for stumps when you get by the iland. Other wise if you know the lake good Bucksaw on up is by far the best for me.
I have fished litte tebo, berry bend, bucksaw, and sparrowfoot this week between bucksaw and sparrowfoot produced the largest fish.

There is a tour leaving shawnee the same day.

My Lord there is going to be alot of crappie tournaments this weekend.I am also fishing in one leaving outta bucksaw. Will be in a 20ft white with red stripes Ranger 520 .If ya see me stop in say hey.I will be all over the lake from bucksaw to windsor area.Going down friday to prefish some.
Fished out of berry bend area saturday and cuaght our limit pretty quick in the morning before the wind had its way with us.Black and chart.jig 8-13 inches under slip float on the banks.Had to be moving and not stationary or they wouldnt hit it.All big males 11-13 inchers had one 15 inch female.
This weekend should be prime for the big sows on the banks.Water temps ranged from 62 deg. to 68 deg.

We are going to have 12 or 13 guys down to Osage Marina this weekend, too. I haven't ate any crappie since September. Save some for us. My buddy just got back from LOZ yesterday, and said they were limited out by 11:00 every morning. If only....
