by the way caught 15 keepers
of Fish and big un too. real big for that matterthe fish were in 12 fo of water the water was 60dg,and verry stained, I think the turn over is over.
jig color was Black/white slabbuster in the morning and as the sun got higher they quit biting, I switched to white/chartruse and chartruse/silver. and they started hitting again.
had to sit in 18ft of water and toss to the bank, let hit bottom and slow reel back to boat. they would hit most of the time just after I lifted the jig off the bottom and started reeling...
all the fish were 12 in or better nothing over 16in. and nothing over 3 pounds..... but a heck of a day, got to the lake arround 10 and left arround 1 pm.... light wind, sunny skies,,, as they say it ain't love but it ain't bad.....
way to go mike that was better than playing in shavings
Very nice post, and a very fine day, any day, even not getting a 3#er is bad but heck a 2#8 oz........ ain't a bad day..... good job and didn't even get out early..... excellent really......
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
