Default Sunday 7/24/11. sorry for the late report

We headed out of bucksaw around 645am. And guess what didn't even go a mile up and slammed dunked them. We had 4 over 14in and quite a few over 11.5in and bigger. A friend in the boat lost a toad at the boat and it just laid up on top for about a second smiling at us. It looked to be for sure probly a 2lber or better. Freakin huge. We threw back a few 9 inchers and ended up with 36 between 3 of us by 1045. Best tactic of the day....back to the basics of love. Yes the old slip bobber and minner. I used the long pole and jig all day but the other 2 whipped my butt on size and numbers. All in all a great day. My buddy let my soon to be father in-law come and now he is hooked. He has never been before and wouldn't you know it, he caught the biggest crappie of the day. Good luck to all. I am dying to get back but all my buds with boats can't go. I am going to have to get a boat soon.

Once they're hooked, they stay that way. Good job on the future father in law.
