Default from one extreme to the other:)

Well went to my favorite tree on Stocton friday night. Put out the light, ate some dinner had a cold one......waited for the bite to start. The bite started......or i should say nibble as there were not too many big enough to consider it to be a bite lol. From the biggest crappie i have ever caught to this.....Guess thats why they call it fishing not catching. Sure enjoyed the night tho, all in all i caught about 30 fish but only took home 3 ( which was just enough for a good breakfast, spicy crappie bits, eggs and bacon...mmmmmm) very peaceful, very calm and very relaxing. Think i need too move to 2nd favorite tree in deeper water. Well i hope you all had a great weekend, keep your lines wet fellas.....Peace.

Spicy crappie bites....that sounds good. Could I get a recipe from you? Sorry, gotta ask! Just think, you could be holding the new world record that you are going to catch again in about 5 years..............Always a positive!! Nice catch!

Glad you enjoyed your night out with the fishies. IMO, it's good seeing those little guys cause you know the spawns are working the way theyre supposed to and better days are ahead. Hope your next trip produces some bigger fish.
