    Default Table Rock 7/9

Went up the James past 76 bridge on Saturday. Found a few crappie in the 12 - 15 depth over 30 ft running 1.3. - 1.7mph. Same set up 20' to the 1 oz snap and 22' out with #4 Shad Rap. Worked the bridgeport area to no avail. South to area across from Bear Den and pick up more. 4 keepers in 20 so I'm excited about what we will see two years from now. Did catch a few on the Bandit 200 Splatter Back White with Black pulling straight with no weight at 100 ft. So some of the crappie were high.
Pulled off the lake at 10:30 to check out the dealers for a pontoon. Found an excellent 2008 Suncruiser with a 2009 115HP Mercury Four Stroke for a fantastic price. Motor still has warranty for another year. Gonna set it up for trolling. Just gotta get the slip converted.

It's all good in the Reeds Spring Land.

Dad's slip in Aunt's Creek. Too bad it's not up at at Wooly. Nice thing is we can load that baby with weight and drop a lot more cedars per trip than with the Ranger. May need you to supervise a few outings this fall and Winter.
