Thread: Favorite Crappie Tubes/bait?

If you want to give color thats fine but I'm more curious to know what the Missouri boys prefer as far as brand and size of bait. Even if its not the traditional tube style bait please include it.

So whats your favorite brand/size of tube?

I will go with Midsouth Super Jig in the Glow colors.

I use a wide variety of lures depending on time of year and what lake. I use BPS Stubby Butts, Panfish Assassins, Bobby Garland Baby Shad, Yum Wooly Beavertails, Shimmer Stix (Carrots) and 3" Slab Slayers. Colors also vary depending on the time of year and which lake.

Midsouth would be my choice for tubes. My personal favorite would be Bobby Garlond Slab slayers in 3". I am really starting to like the carrot style baits that crappiencali pours. Guess I better not leave out Rainy Day Jigs if I could ever get caught up enough to tie some more for myself. Colors would be Wht/Char, Blk/Char, Blk/Yellow as my favorites. But this year Blk/Pink, Purple/Pink and Blue/Char have been the best colors for me by a long shot here on Truman.

favorite is chapman's 2 1/2 chartruese with sparkle and yellow and chartruese. all i carry with me in my boat are all the color's of those chapman creeks, 2 inch yum beavertail's, and 3 inch slab slayer's (hardhead turned me onto those)
