Sounds like a fun trip. Congrats.
The crappie fishing is as hot of the weather! Two of us started early yesterday morning and had our limits in less than four hours. Fished both standing timber and brush piles. The fish were hanging around the trees in 10-15 fow and were 3-10 deep. Used jigs in a variety of colors - white/chart, blue/chart, brown/chart, black/chart, electric chicken, blue/silver. The fish we caught on brush piles were suspended just above the brush and we caught them by casting and retreiving the jig back.
We also caught a tremendous number of small fish, should be a good future population in Pomme.
Good luck!
Brad
Can You Find, "LIMITVILLE!!!" :D
Sounds like a fun trip. Congrats.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Way to go Brad and good report on Pomme.
Thanks for the report Brad. I believe this will continue until the lake turns over this fall.
Very nice. Did u catch a 2.8??
thanks for the report, heading to Bolivar Landing in the morning.
got back from Bolivar Landing and guess what, got skunked!!!!!!!what one week does to them fish ,I don't know.we have been killing them there but all we caught was 1 keeper,James done a little better so I had to listen to some more crowing.got a few shorts and went home around noon trying to figure out who put the hex on me.
I appreciate reports even when no fish (or few) are caught. Otherwise, I'm out there getting skunked wondering "why doesn't this happen to anyone else?"
Love it when they're above the brush like that, thanks for the report.
