    Default Short Wapp trip

I went for a little while this morning, quit fishing around ten. Caught maybe ten to twelve or so keepers today, didn't keep any, give them all a bye. I had about that many shorts, maybe a few more. Biggest went 0.8. It's been a rough week, and it made me feel better to not kill any. Had my cooler in case I damaged an eye, or gut hooked one. That didn't happen and I'm glad. It was a good morning on the water to run the boat some. Therapeutic just to ride around. I found fish on breaks in 7-11 feet of water, 2-6' deep as the morning heated up. Underestimated the sun this morning. Wore jeans, and was gettin hot about 9 or so. Straight jigs, main lake areas.

Sounds like a fun trip, and nothing can take the stress away like being out in nature on the water enjoying it. Glad you got out!

What kind of boat were you in. I was there bluegill fishing, but made a few forays around the lake as well. I was in a cream colored Lowe 175 crappie special. We caught some pretty nice gills and kept about 25. They're lunch today!

It's something the way you can forget all about any problems or stress once you get on the water and start fishing. It's better than any modern medicine known to man. Glad you got out and caught some fish. Sounds like it was a good day.Thumbs Up Congrats.
