    Default Pomme 6/24

Fished the Bolivar Landing area yesterday. We brought home 30 all in the 10" range. We released countless smalller fish and 8 fish in the 11 to 12 inch range.
It seems that Pomme is absolutely loaded with fish in the 10" range this year. We caught our fish on jigs, but noticed a lot of minnow fisherman were having good luck as well. All most every piece of wood held fish, standing timber in coves, lay down logs on bluffs, you name it. If anyone is looking to catch a mess of eaters Pomme is the place. Good luck!

Thanks for the report, I keep meaning to try pomme but I don't know the lake. I always chicken out and head to Truman! Might just try it out if I get my chores done today.

Nice work........... sounds like pomme is hot.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish

The fish I target are suspended around pole timber in 8 to 14 feet of water. This pattern won't change much from now to late October. Good luck to all.
