Default Lake Of The Ozarks Fishing

    Hi all,

I'm new to the forum. I'll be going down to Lake of the Ozarks Thursday! Looking for some help about what baits to use and what is biting and such. I have looked up some fishing reports but they aren't up to date. I am staying at Robin's Resort on Milemarker #1 of the Glaize Arm. Any information would be great!

    Thanks!!!

That is a great area to fish,i have great luck in pin oak cove which is just around the corner from Robin's,the fish were on the banks last weekend but the fronts backed em off a bit, check the banks and back out and fish some brush and you should be able to catch some fish.Stay in touch i may be fishing that area friday if i am i'll be happy to get you started.

Bugs is right on in his report. Many good areas in the coves between Robins and the 2MM of the Glaize. White/pink and white/chart Slab Busters or Slab Slayers have been working well. Look for brush in 10-16 FOW. Good luck.

Catfish were good last week and bass were the best that I have seen in quite a while. Crappie were good there last week also, i fish that same area most of the time now. Blue _chartreuse, red _chartreuse, blue white, and brown _chartreuse with a niblit or gulp thing.

Fished the Glaize today and found fish on the banks mostly smaller males and a few females so i backed off to 8'-10' and got into some dandy fish over brush.

Totally excited to be leaving in less than 12 hours. Has the weather or affecting them lately?

Kylech1999. Fished the banks like Bugs said with the same results. Went to Party Cove of all places and caught good fish in eight to ten feet of water. We fished the left side of the cove as you go into party cove. Used red and green jigs and also blue and silver jigs. Good luck.........
