A friend of mine has been catching alot of fish around docks. doesnt really matter what part of the lake. if theres a dock theres fish! good luck
I'm going to be on the Niangua arm (MM 4ish) next weekend (May 6-8) We usually try and crappie fish on Mothers day/my dad's birthday every year. We have done quite well the past few years but the water didn't seem to have warmed up as quickly as it has this year. In the past we did well very shallow with spawning fish. Does anyone have any suggestions for this year? Will we still find shallow (3 ft or less) fish? Any thoughts, comments, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I fished last Friday around the 3 MM and caught 21 but it took pretty much all day. Caught a couple a little over 1lb mostly around docks about 4-6ft deep with live minnows. We did catch a nice 45lb "Blue" Catfish on the trout line.
That's a great picture. The little one looks very intrigued!
Yea she didn't know what to think about it.....
Great picture of that blue
I caught most of mine about halfway up the dock in the bays, water was about 20+' deep. I know a few people around the area I was fishing and most of the docks I was fishing has suspended bush.
