That's good. I need a little water for some of my usual spots. Some of them, it's gonna take over 360. I don't have a lot of good spots for single poling when it's under summer pool.
Adam, I haven't talked with anyone this week. I suspect that there will be fish on the bank until the front later in the week. That, and the cooler temps might move them back out a little for a while. FWIW Caught a bunch of fish from 3-9 fow Sat., best coming off of 5-7 fow breaklines. All colors. Did catch some small darkened males shallow, but no keepers. Heard stories of some nice fish on 3' flats, but I can't confirm that. I saw 69* Sat. afternoon, shallow.

I'm heading over in a couple hours, so I'll let you boys know what's happening. I'm hoping the big sows are up shallow.

I was at wappapello today. Caught 88 in total, but only 6 were keepers. I got to figure out where the nicer ones are. The people I talked to said they were on the banks Tuesday, but with the corp raising the water level, not so much so today.

Got a phone call a little while ago. Guys fished today and kept 17, no size to brag about. LOTS of rigs at the lake today. They put in at Rockwood Beach at seven-thirty, had to park down by the beach.

Me and a buddy kept 18 this evening. Couldn't really find a pattern. Caught a couple shallow but most in 8-10. Nothing bigger than 12 in or so. Really disappointing as I figured we'd find them on the banks. I agree that the water level prob has something to do with them being so scattered. Oh well, had an awesome day to enjoy and i plan to get back out this weekend. Good luck to those who go.

I fished wapp friday, tuesday, and wednesday. I had reports of crappie on the bank for over a week now on the upper end of the lake so we went this past friday and checked.

On friday evening we started on flats and were catching fish in 3-8' of water with 6 keepers.....but nothing to speak of on the bank. Some males had a bit of color. Water temp was 67.

Tuesday evening we went and didnt have much luck on the shallow flats.....bingo classic for fish being on the bank. We ended with 15 keepers in about 45min. There were about even numbers of females and males on the bank. water temp 70

We went back yesterday evening and the fish were not on the flats again....good should still be on the bank. Water went up about a foot from day before and was kinda worried. We put 16 keepers in the boat.....half and half male and female. There were a couple females that looked like they swallowed a chicken egg but the eggs were not running out of em yet. water temp 69

They are on the bank on the lower lake, but this spot is typically one of the first spots that they hit. It is a bank that is close to a creek channel. They are n the bank you just have to know where to look and when to fish there.

Thanks to all for the updates. Hope the rain tonight and tomorrow doesnt throw the fish way off. It is looking like it will be a week or two before i can make it back down, so leave a couple fish for me.
    Timber,
It is looking like you are going to get some more water, so maybe your spawn areas are coming soon. Hopefully with all the rain in the forcast for the next week the lake doesnt get out of control.
Good fisshing wishes go to all
