got to the lake about 10 and headed to piney creek. caught a few in 15 fow. went to wooly creek caught a few in 15 fow. went to point 15 james/flat creek caught a few. according to the clicker had 100 caught only 8 keepers, but to be honest if it didnt measure 10 1/2 it went back. caught the heck out of them black nose crappie, from 3 in to 11 in. caught a lot of small crappie in 6 ft of water, most arround lay downs. all the big fish came in 15 fow or deeper. slow trolling arround.
water was dingy,50 dg. when I got there 54 when I left.
jig color was rootbeer/chartruse
black/chartruse Slab Busters 1/16 oz double rig. or single jig for casting and retrieving. it was a good day on the rock

Sounds like a great day Beagle. Glad to hear of fish being caught on the Rock! I caught some black nose last time I was at the Rock fishing with JLT.

The retired guys are telling me they are catching them too up the James.
