Truman Lake area, tally bend area to osceola area, then below the dam from the 65 hwy bridge on down stream.......... use to fish this area a lot when I was a young pup with my dad......
I haven't been since I was probably 10 years old. Do any of you boys know what waters and areas are good to give this shot?

A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
Tally Bend to Osceola on Truman. I avoid LOZ at all costs when it comes to matters of the Spoonbill. The show is great at LOZ but someone is always involved in a close call. Fishing and relaxing works better for me.
Scott Platte City Missouri
Up river from the Old Oar House Inn on LOZ......... when it gets good, you can't miss the crowd.
I will echo what moriver says, people aren't exactly the most intelligent..... I remember idling through the crowd to go up and fish Turkey Creek and people would run by us on plane, with boats everywhere!

The Taberville Access on H highway North of El Dorado Springs on the Big Osage Arm is really good. Up river from the ramp about 1/4-1/2 mile is the deepest hole on that stretch of river. If you have electronics, look in that hole. They catch some 90+ lb'ers and a lot of smaller ones all the way up the Bates County Drainage Ditch almost to KS line. There's Old Town Access just north of Rich Hill on 71 highway.
South of niva on james river. Has ben very good for me. Lots of good fish every year.
What part of the state are you located? I snag the James River arm of Tablerock near point 15 quite a bit and do well. My avatar pic is my biggest one to date from down there and weighed 80 pounds.
I am from around the Jeff City area. Usually do a lot of my fishing at LOZ and Truman.
