    Talking Twain

I'm like a little kid waiting for Christmas right now! Took this from the South Fork Website:

It’s amazing how a few days of warm weather and a lot of fresh water can clear ice out of a lake. The South Fork appears to be completely open, as most of the lake probably is. The South Fork ramp is definitely usable, although the courteous docks are not in place.

yeah, i'm really chompin at the bit to head up for some slabs too! and it seems as if we may have another high water spring season. puts a smile on my face to remember the great trips we had last year when the lake was up. couple more weeks and I'm on my way!

Hey Guys , the lake level was 601.5 before the melt, so it came up nearly 8'. Amazing that much water came out of the snow,
altho they had 22-28 inches out of that last big snow. Going down March 5-6 hope to get out some then.
