Route U,
The road to the ramp at the silo? It looks like when things begin to thaw(who knows?), that road may become pretty soft? Has anyone had any problems on it in, say Feb or March?
Thanks
Not sure on the snow over there...... I live in Quincy, IL, bout 45 minutes east of the lake and we might have gotten 2-2.5 inches?
Which road ya talkin bout Polsky?
By the way guys, report on South Fork Resort said that South Fork and 107 ramps are both open.

Polsky,
I don't use that one as much as Catman and some of the other guys do, but I've never had a problem with any of the roads to be honest. Behren's can probably be slick with the steep grade, but other than that, I'd say you are good to go.

polsky, i actually don't use that road unless the temp is pretty cold, i have been on it when it is thawing and it is a mess, fairly solid though. i usually put in at 107 just too far to run in the cold temps.
Understood, I was on it one day in late winter last year and actually turned around cause it was so soft. I hadn't been all the way down it up until a few weeks ago when it was frozen. Pulling a heavier boat now so your advise of docking in somewhere else when it warms up is probably a great one. By the way, this weather really su....s, looks like where out of commission for awhile. Might have to take my sons rabbit huntin one day, haven't done that in awhile. If anyone knows of any areas that are decent for that send me a PM. Thanks
