    Default Small Conservation lakes

Hey everyone i was wondering if anyone knew of any small, kinda unknown conservation lakes which produce pretty good fish. I really dont like going to huge lakes because all i have is a small pond prowler. Let me know if you guys have any ideas! Thanks

What area of the state are you located in? My first boat was a 14 footer with a 9.9 on it and I used to put in at different coves on Lake Pomme de Terre without any troubles!

Missouri isn't exactly a little state, what part of Missouri are you from? If you near the KC area I can recommend Lone Jack lake, North Lake near Harrisonville, or during the offseason you can use a little boat like that on Prairie Lee Lake. The only issue with all of these lakes is that they see a lot of pressure from bank fisherman. But if you leave near KC or St. Louis you will have to deal with that on any of the smaller lakes.

Although I love to fish Prairie Lee, simply because it is close to where I live, I cannot recommend it for a small boat during the summer months. It can get a bit choppy when the wake boarders show up or when you get someone trying to learn to pull a ski, wakeboard, or tube.
