Better luck next time.
Well, I know not many folks on here fish Prairie Lee Lake, Missouri but I did Saturday morning with little luck. Caught a few small blue gill but thats it. No keepers. Everyone I talked to on the lake said the same thing. Unsually slow day on the lake.
Maybe next time will be better.
Better luck next time.
May all your live wells be full.Dave
never fished it don't know where it is but by golly you were out there trying, I hear it will get better, stay the course and better luck next time.
I have only fished it a handful of times this year, but I've pulled some great crappie out of that lake.
One of my buds that was fishing with me caught one last fall that went over 2lbs.
Super green fish lake in the winter, I’ve caught 5 pounders when the water temp was in the low 40’s.
I know where it is and dont live far from it but have never fished it... but from the comments may have to start.....thanks for the report
Prairie Lee Lake? Ain't that out around Raytown, or close? I am sure that we used to fish there as a kid, but it has been a LONGGGGGG time ago. I grew up close to 95th & Blue Ridge. It sure rings a bell.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
It's in Lee's Summit. Feeds into Jacomo.
Sounds like perseverance will pay off, stay after em.

There are no crappie at Prairie Lee I tell ya!
Actually I fish Prairie Lee a lot and can tell you that fishing there can be hit or miss. My wife caught a 2 lb crappie back in May but the vast majority that I catch are much smaller. Oddly enough I've been catching a lot of catfish there while fishing over some of the brushpiles with minnows. A 3 lb catfish on an ultralight rod is a lot of fun.
