couldn't buy a bite

Gave the catfish a break and dusted off the jigs.Got out and all set up then a lightning storm rolled thru so I parked it for a while-got back out after an hour and managed 1 8"er..looked like whites were busting the surface when I first got there..but nothing after the storm.
Still managed 2 cats on jigs

well a day out is not bad, maby next trip will be a more productive catch day,

I did that 2 weeks ago on Pomme, very frustrating. Guess that's what keeps us humble

Sometimes those storms help and sometimes they hurt........too bad it was the latter this time,hopefullly things will even out next trip.
