Went up there this afternoon to go fishing. Got there right after the big windstorm. Moved the Marina and docks about 30 feet. Damaged alot of boats.

If it looks anything like Clinton I would say it is bad. We went to Butler and then to Harrisonville and missed the whole storm. When we returned it was bad. Tons of trees and power lines down. When we came into town on hwy 7 there were billboards down and lots of trees. My neighbors got hit pretty hard on my street. We had some small stuff in the yard but nothing big. Only damage we had was it sucked our storm door open on the back entrance to the house. The bottom was bent to a 90 degree angle and will not go back. Lucky compared to a lot of people with roof damage and limbs on houses.

I couldnt see much damage to the Marina. Might be closed for awhile though. Looks like most of the damage was to the boats there. They wouldnt let us on the docks. They told my friend that his boat was okay so we left.

Walkway is damaged and some of the house boats were damaged. Dock 3 was moved some. They should be back open as soon as the walkway is repaired.

We were there when the storm hit & it was intense for a while. From what I could see all the boats stayed a float & some had damage. There was some of us trying to tie up some of the boats that wasnt tied very good. Never seen waves that big on Truman before. Looked like all the docks moved some. It was a chore to get down the ramp.
