I've never fished Smithville but I always caught them off rocky points, flats along channel edges, or on midlake humps this time of the year. Good luck.
I see lots of people are catching walleye right now gonna give it a shot tomorrow, anybody got any suggestions. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

try main lake points 3-5fow near weed lines
I went today and man was it a zoo out on the main lake. I caught 2 shorts and 1 keeper. Fished a lipless crankbait on main lake points next to the weed lines. They need to open up the gates and then the big ones will move back on the points.
