    Default Smithville 5/31/10

I took a beating today guys. Fished about 3 hrs and got about 3 hits and put 1 dink in the boat. Fished some places that always produce but today it was tough. Dave I stand corrected. I saw cover today in spots I fish that I havent seen yet. The lake is really falling. I hope it gets to normal and then they put the plug in. I saw a couple of boats catch a couple but not much. I brought home the golden goose egg and thats all.

Dex, the lake will get back to normal. I know I've very anxious for them to shut the gates.

But, better than my day. Pulled out of the Bass Pro parking lot and the car sputtered and died. Hopefully it's just the fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter. I'll be working on it tomorrow night after work.

Its been flowing about as fast as it can. Starting to see the rocks again on the points it wont be much longer. Maybe the lake will calm down and we can find more fish thanks Dexter for the report
May all your live wells be full.

Sounds like the walleye fishing picked up once they started pulling water . I'll probably fish for them until the crappie fishing picks back up again.
