Report.......as promised.
Got on the water at 6:30 (would have been earlier but I hit a deer on the way over......deer lost).
Ran up into the the arms and found good water. 62-63 degrees with a nice stain to it, just as we like. Fished from 7-1 in the same area, boated probably 50-60 fish, made for nice limits. A couple 14" males to go along with probably a limit and a half of 11.5 - 12's.
Weird thing about it was you could fish one certain spot for 5 minutes, with nothing and then you flip back in and BAM.
Found them right on the banks all the way down to 6 ft. Lot's of fish with eggs left in them........I'd imagine they are itchin to lay them.
By no means was the fishing hot and heavy, but they are there.
Good weather ahead should make for some good fishing........looks as though the lake is holding steady and I'd love to get back over there this week.

What kinda bait you using? Art/Minnows? and how where you using it ? Thinking about going tomorrow 25th. The places I had been fishing didn't produce last time, but I think that's because I wasn't hitting the banks ( they were to far off for me to fish )

I never use minnows......... but that's just me. I don't think it would hurt to have them in the boat with ya. Caught fish on tighline and jig/cork.

Good to hear. Gonna be up there with the family Fri thru Mon. Looking to put a few on ice. If the lake holds and they dont pull the plug it should stay good.
