I know a bunch of you made it up there today. What's the outlook for tomorrow?
The wife may actually want to fish on Mothers Day. Guess she's my best catch yet!

I'm working today,in-laws are in town for moms day tomorrow, back to work on Monday (probably going to rain "they" say) but am off on Tuesday. If the lightning isn't too bad and the rain and wind cooperate, I'm there.

Now, all we need to do is to come up with some good dirty talk to get those fat gal slabs to head to the bank for some party time.....that didn't exactly come out like I intended.....
I believe in catch and release.....right into the grease!!!!!

I think the gals need to warm up before they will come to our offerings .

Yeah , I think the cold front will hold off the spawn until the water temps warm up again.

Windy and cold again. Don't go. Wait for better weather. I've got a splitting headache from the cold wind blowing on my head all day long.

That's what I did. Got everything loaded up. Thermos of hot coffee, sweatshirt & windbreaker....stood in the driveway and felt how strong and cold that wind was and said....screw it. Stayin' home.

Which ended up being a good thing cuz the kids needed help planning Mother's Day, so...all in all, a good day.

Went to Sailboat Cove and it wasnt as bad on the bank as I thought it would be (weather wise). Water was real brown and only caught 1 damn fish all day, was a keeper though.
