    Default Crappie Scent

I know Slab has is new scent which sounds like it is fish oil based, which I'd like to try, but does anyone have any opinions on other scents in general? I already have garlic dip-n-glo, smelly jelly (can't remember what flavor, but its pink), and anise I bought for bass and thought some of these could work for crappie.

I plan to add some scent to my unscented grubs and tubes this year and am curious which scents crappie like best. It smells like slabbusters are garlic impregnated, so I thought that garlic dip-n-glo could be good?

I have been using the Bang garlic spray with good success. Had some cans left from my bass tournament days so I tried it. Worked great and easier to use than the crappie nibbles I had been using. They also have a Shad scent but have not done as well with it. One of the top Pro's told me after a seminar that he did not care what brand or what flavor but to use something. I smoke so it is extra critical to use something.

Thanks for the advice. I've used crappie nibbles in the past but I may start using the spray. Should I be able to find some just about anywhere?

Kodiak Minnow Paste Is A Great Scent As Is Wax Worm By Kodiak. Grizzly Has It $6.00 A Tube And Last Very Long. But That Said Slab's Scent Is Pretty Darn Good Too.

Bang garlic spray - I didn't find it listed at Cabela's or Bass Pro. Is there any store around Kansas City or Clinton that carry it????

Everharts here in Clinton has it. I think Bass Pro has it online but not for sure. I get about 99% of my stuff from Everharts. Great prices and real handy since it is right here in town. The wife says it is way to close.

Thanks, I will have to look into the bang garlic and the kodiak scents. Do you find you catch more bluegill, etc. when using these scents. I know I have that experience with the berkley nibbles. I also think I tend to catch more small crappie with nibbles.

Ooops....I did another search on Bass Pro. This time only on "Bang". They have it.

    Bass Assassin® BANG® Fish Attractants

Since Everharts carry it, I may wait and buy it there on the way to Pomme.

    Thanks.....

You can order a crappie.com hat and get two different scents from slab.
    It seems to help

I use SlabBusters 95% of the time. The garlic on those really seems to help. I'm putting garlic scent in every jig body I pour.
