    Default wappapello 3-20-10

Fished wappapello on Saturday and caught 80-90 fish and ended up with 14 keepers. keepers were mostly 9-10" with 2 of them 13". Seemed to me that the bigger fish were in 12-14 foot of water. Water temp ranged from 51-54
Did anyone else get to fish wappapello the last few days?

Caught my first limit, spider riggin 5-6 fow, 18"-24" down with top jig, blk, orange, or wh /char, were the best depending on time of day/sun, just a couple of fish in 7-8 fow during the hardest wind, wind east at daylight ccw around the clock to southwest at about a hunnert :D Temps same as above. I had two right at 13", a couple you had to mash to make nine, but most were 10 - 11.5".

Looks like wappapello is starting to come back with some nice crappie. Glad to see that.

I fished it last Thursday from 3 til dark and had a good evening. Managed 15 keepers. Caught them in 4-6 feet of water long poling and casting. Had 4 nice fish and the rest were 9-10 inches. Looked like it was getting good before this rain hit.
