first day back report

went to duck creek this morning little thin ice on the east side other than that it was clear.tried minnows on slipp corks not much luck the water is really cold. i only had couple of little bumps but no crappy. had a catfish bout 13" up to the bank till it broke my line oh well. my buddy caught a musky bout 17" first cast out lucky turd!!!!!!!!! man i thought they might b on but no joy. tried some slab daddy jigs by the docks nothing doing there.

even though we catch anything i sure did feel good to get out of the house.
sun was shining and it was bout 45 hardly any wind.

wish i had about 10 more degrees then they would on.

next time its on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a good day to be out! I'm not doubting you on the muskie but are you sure it wasnt a pickerel? Theres a bunch of them in D.C.

probly was ive never seen one

all i know is had pretty good set of teeth!!!!!!!!
it sure did look good down there i just think its a little too cold still

but it wont b long we will b bach on em!!!!!
