Missouri river crappie?

Anybody here ever catch crappie in the river?I used to catch some dandy blacks from the backwaters at jackass bend before the 93 flood.Only in early spring.

Anybody here ever catch crappie in the river?I used to catch some dandy blacks from the backwaters at jackass bend before the 93 flood.Only in early spring.

I"ve caught some before on tributary rivers just off the missouri, but havnt tried in a long time.
