my color was not listed. i only use bright red. it probably doesnt matter but i know that they work for me. i have tried other colors and they will catch fish but i have not found any that do any better for me. when all falls if you put on a red head you willcatch more fish. but thats jst my opinion.

I don't use to many colored jig heads, except for fishing for Walleye I use red. Colored jig heads never really helped me on crappie, maybe thats why I have not caught a three pounder yet.

    Default colored heads

I used to make all different colors until i met this old timer who never painted his heads, I watched this old guy pull in 6,7 and 8 lb walleyes on a regular basis and noticed he had just plain old lead heads with no paint. i asked him why he did not paint his heads? He said the tail is more important than the head since that is where all the action is. I have never painted a head since. I do put on red glass eyes though. something i believe about a bleeding eye attracting fish. Well, what ever you believe in will work.

I do not know how tru this is,but was told red disapears after so many feet down. I do use red hooks and have better luck with them. Is this the reason why? who knows but if you are confident in some thing that is what you use.
