1/8oz jig drop it to the bottom drift it, jig it, slow roll it up from the bottom, slow troll, it all worked, didn't get a limit but I got 12 big black crappie, caught a bunch of short fish, they were pig slaughter fat. mmmmmm crappie for supper tomorrow. water was 54dg clear light wind, with some gust. not bad though, sunny as sunny can be. man great day.

thanks all, been lucky as of late. and glad of it, talked to a couple guys yesterday and they said they did pretty good also, they were in a different part of the lake than me. so it looks like fishing is picking up all over stockton, y'all better get to the lake and enjoy the good fall fishing, it quits Dec. the 14 and then no more fishing till june 9th at 8am. go get em.
