I'd suggest there could be a connection between the dead bird and the duck call?

Good to read your report, sounds like you all had a great day and ducked out of there before the weather turned for the worse. (get it "ducked out of there").

Sure would like to know how the Ozark rod fell in the water
Oh ya one more thing' Monty looks good in that Toyota.
Gary, again, Thanks for the compliments. We had a good time. Something I have learned while fishing with these old guys. DON'T QUESTION THEM, AND DON'T SECOND GUESS THEM WHEN THEY TELL YOU SOMETHING. So OSS says "these Ozark Rods will float." Chris says, "are you serious, I don't guess I knew that, your telling me it will float with the reel on it?" I turn my head away about that time and the old man throws his rod about 5 feet away from the boat out in the water. I turned back around to see what the splash was and there it is floating right up on top. So then the old man says "Got any other questions?" and trolled over there and picked it up. :o Ah I didn't say anything.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
