Good day gentlemen. Way to get on some good ones.
With an improving wind forecast and permission from the boss / wife made a late decision to go with got crappie. Glad we did, wind was a little puffy at times but not unfishable. Put in on the Grand. Kept 10 average sizes ones for a feed, and C&R maybe another 20 more. Two at 1 lb 7 ozs, one @ 1-6, and three more between 1-4 & 1-5. Picture is of Dave holding one of the big ones after just wearing me out on a tree where he caught three good ones while I sit there looking stupid. Notice I'm not showing the tree until I get a chance to go back there and redeem myself. :D Trees in 16-20 fow, 8-10 feet down. Blue / white, white / chart seemed best today. This is my fourth trip with Dave, first one was a rain squall, second was a monsoon, and the third time was a Truman hurricane (ask Monty). So we finally hit it lucky, thanks Dave for the great day and even greater company. Truly a pleasure to have you in the boat.

Good job. Nice report on the fish and the good time with a buddy. Sure wish I could have been out there. Instead I was putting on new electronic's on the new to me boat.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
Good to see ya Got Crappie. You had a great guide today. Steve always gets his buddies on fish. Glad you had a good day.
Now Dave will know that we are not wind prone down here...... nice fish..... sorry I was several miles away trying to make a crappie connection.....
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
Nice fish Dave. Be sure to catch a few to put in Smithville. We need some of them big LOZ crappie. Don't know what they do down there to make'em grow that big. Someone must be feeding them.
Water looks real stained.
