Default Truman best crappie lake ever?

Figured I would just see what everone else thought but here is why I think My beloved lake should get the award.
    1. LOTS of fish period
    2. A lake should be easy to fish for a person who has NO knowledge of it, and Truman is a put the trollling motor down and start fishing lake.
    3. Year round fishing.
    4. nice fish, not all hogs but good pretty fish
    5. No fishing pressure 9 months out of the year
    6. great boat ramps
    7. lots of room to roam
    8. 100 ways to catch em
    What are yalls views?

I Would Think It Would Rank As One Of The Better Lakes To Fish, however To Proclaim As The Best May Be A Bit Much,,at Times Some Are Better Than Other's..jmo

Being from Alabama, I have fished a lot of very good crappie lakes. Weiss, Neeley Henry, Guntersville, and Eufaula to name a few. Back then the only way we fished for them was with a minnow on a gold aberdeen hook under a bobber. If I had known then what I know now, I'm sure it would have been even better. I also fished Kentucky Lake when it was in it's prime in the late 60's. Some real pigs came out of that lake back then. I love fishing Truman and I would certainly rank it up there with the best of them. It helps finally knowing a little bit about how to fish for them. For numbers and quality of fish, Truman is a hard one to beat.

She's one of the better ones no doubt but you'd get lots of arguments from folks in other states and even some people in our own state. Table Rock, Bull Shoals, Stockton, and Pomme have all been through some up and some down cycles. You don't have to go back too far to find some stringers of black crappie from Bull Shoals that would make any bragging board. Table Rock was remarkable in the 2004 to 2006 period. Probably no lake in Missouri gives up more crappie than Lake O year in and year out. Will Truman cycle downward? Time will tell. I do know one thing MO QWACK you're fishing parts of the lake I need to learn more about if you see no fishing pressure for 9 months of the year.

Yea, I know other lakes are great but I'm talking about, not knowing anything about "How" to fish it and stiil catch fish and about the fishing pressure... lets take a vacation to Louisiana on a weekend and then hit Truman on 4th of July weekend and see who has more boats. Louisiana will win every time, Southern lakes have more fishing pressure in a weekend then Truman gets in a month. Trust me I've been afew places in my short life.
