for tuffing out the wind and the big boats, and catching some crappie...... I haven't been on stockton for 25 years, might wait another 25 before I go unless they pull the cork on Truman.........
Plenty of big boats and lake lice running around combined with a good breeze it was tough to stay on a brushpile in my little aluminum boat. The good news is 9 yesterday and 8 today with plenty of small fish around. Main lake brush piles in 15 to 30' of water on blackandchart. We camped at mutton creek for the first time. I never stayed in a place like that. They like to drink there beer and have a good time. Toga party on the dock fri night live band saturday.

A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
Unless its during the week it will probably be after labor day till i go back. I thinks ineed to go back to truman here real soon.
Good job wildhunter for being out there and getting some for your efforts. Mutton can be a wild place I camped there back in the day and had fun with the best of them.
You know, I don't there is hardly ever a post or a comment made about Stockton that the word "WIND" is not included. :o
Glad you ended up with several.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
Good job wildhunter! The wind and big boats can be tough there. Any pics of the toga party?:D
It can get interesting dodging sailboats on the upper end. They can change directions pretty dang quick. Congrats on acouple decent days. Sounds like keepers have been hard to come by lately.
