I was encouraged Monday that the cooler nights and clear water is going to show some great results at LOZ. I had an opportunity for a brief visit Sunday night, but due to business and personal commitments had very little time to fish. However, Sunday night I caught 6 keepers in 30 minutes and Monday morning I caught 12 fish in 30 minutes. Most were right at 9 so not much to be overly excited, but that certainly has me a little more enthused about getting back there for the next couple of weekends. All were caught around docks over 20' to 30' of water. They were anywhere from 8' down to 2' down.

after getting married in Mid May, honeymoon, buying a house in June/July, starting school again, it looks like this upcoming weekend the wife and I will be heading down to the in laws in Sunrise Beach......FINALLY!
