looks like you found one nice fish in Haverstick. Sounds like it's really tough on Pomme! I guess next time you'll find your way through the fog to Truman.

LOL, GOT BOAT GPS PROBLEMS FIXED TODAY! GOING TO HAVE A NEW STAINLESS PROP ON BOAT FIRST OF NEXT WEEK. GOING BACK TO TRUMAN! I SAID THIS SPRING I WANTED TO LEARN THAT LAKE EVEN IF IT KILLED ME!

IF YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN ALL THE GAR AND MUSKIE FEEDING ON THE SHAD IN HAVERSTICK YOU WOULD HAVE COME UNGLUED! THEY WERE ROLLING ON TOP OF THE WATER. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY MUSKIE AND GAR RUNNING IN PACKS FEEDING AT ONE TIME! NORMALLY THEY WON'T GET THAT CLOSE TO A BOAT I HAD THEM WITHIN 2 FEET OF THE BOAT OR LESS.

Hey Dan, if it weren't so fun catching those I wouldn't fish much around here!!
Pictures look like the fog had burned off pretty good. Looks like a nice day to be out on the water no mater what you caught.

BEING THE CRAPPIE LOVER I AM, THANK GOD THERE WAS TOO MANY OTHER PEOPLE TO CLOSE TO ME! BECAUSE I WAS REALLY THINKING ABOUT PULLING OUT THE S&W 9 MM TO PROTECT MY LITTLE CRAPPIE BUDDIES FROM THOSE HUNGRY MUSKIE! THE GAR AND MUSKIE WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE THEY DIDN'T SEEM TO BE SCARED OF MY BOAT.

I drove over to the state park at LOZ. There were pontoon boats catching air out there. I set there for a half hour wondering why anyone would want to get out on the lake with waves like that. It would have took some serious cash just to get me to run across from the ramp to the point on the other side. I will not complain about truman and the big boats for a while after seeing that this weekend.

We use to fish Pomme a lot until the azz holes showed up with the BIG play boats that get swamp at LOZ & the lake lice is a real pain also. A buddy of mine fished Pomme today & had 26 keepers on the main lake. If I see muskie you wont catch any crappie any where close to them.

I AGREE WITH YOU JJ, YOU CAN STILL CATCH FISH ON POMME. BUT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE SEEN ALL THE BIG PLAY BOATS ON POMME. I COULDN'T BELIEVE THE SIZE OF THE BOATS THAT WERE BEING UNLOADED YESTERDAY. AND THEY WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE.
