    Default What's your favorite knot?

I started using a loop knot this year after seeing a YouTube video. Some Pro - I think Wally Marshall - demonstrated a loop knot. He liked the knot because it was easy to do, very quick, and gave his jig a natural horizontal presentation in the water. Here's an interesting link to different kinds of fishingknots (Grog's Fishing Knots Index). I like the clinch knot for catfishing.

Alex, you ask really good questions. My favorite by far is the palomar. Use it for everything. Strongest knot going in my opinion.

Palomar is the only knot tied in my boat. the line will break before the knot will. and when i'm feeling lazy, i leave lots of slack at the end to tie on the second jig, super fast way to double rig.
Why do I have to press 1 for English?

Thank you Sir. I just got an inquisitive mind that can't stop thinking about fishing. Don't know if that's good or bad. I find it very distractive when I've got about 1000 things to do at work and all I'm thinking about is, "When will OSS post another picture of what he caught that morning."
