One thing I would LOVE about the 4 stroke is a quieter idle....Listening to the 2 stroke all day sucks....

11 hrs total yesterday, 12 today Mr. Jim.

    I do not have a 10 by 9 rule!!!

Gonna do 12 hrs or 40 fish tommorrow, whichever comes first!

Dern, that's like 3 days in a row for Pstone and a couple last week and weekend too. I'm wondering if Mrs. Stone has done kicked him out and he's got nothing better to do.

He put her on a slow boat to Mexico. Mine is cruising as well, but left me with three boys. I'm feeling like a poo flinger... cooking, cleaning, laundry, ball games and practices... That darn boat needs to dock soon.

I've been out of action for about two weeks and probably will not get new motor rigged until mid next week. I'd love to listen to a 2 stroke all day (even my old 30 Evinrude which was probably louder than your's).

Seriously, I probably needed a break from fishing...long list of "to dos" is getting shorter but fishing is a whole lot more fun! I guess if I gotta be broke down, this is a good time during the post-spawn blues.

Yeah, I plan to doctor fuel and decarb regularly. Wish I had been smart enough to do that last year. I'd probably be out fishing today with that old Evinrude 30. I hear there is a station in Batesville that sells ethanol free gasoline. I'll haul gas from there if I can find out where it is. These motors are too expensive to ruin with this ethanol junk!

And just think, the ethanol lobby is talking with our esteemed new president about letting them go to 15% ethanol

Speakin of ethanol, is it just me, or does it hit you wrong to see stickers
on the pump saying "Enriched with up to 10 percent ethanol"?

Sounds like that should fall under false advertising...
I can't think of any stretch of the language as to how it could be
    considered "enriching" the fuel.

Now maybe "diluted with up to 10 percent ethanol"
or "cut" "polluted" or "with up to 10 percent filler"
    would be more accurate.

It should have to be posted on the pump also that your
mileage will suffer by using the stuff

Saw some gasoline with ethanol in a fruit jar little while ago at a boat dealer. That stuff looked nasty. I think the jar had been sitting there for about a month, had layers of junk that had seperated and were suspended in it that you wouldn't believe. They had it there as a display to warn customers to treat their gas.

    Unbelievable!
