Bad news, it ain't just the tributaries! I was fishing Arkabutla last week and saw a couple of 'em jump. Talked to the GW, he said he had heard a couple other reports of 'em in the lake. Probably catfishermen who dipped baitfish below the damn, got some carp fry with the shad and minnows, then dumped 'em in the lake.

Don, there are guys in Illinois who are doing guide trips. Shooting them out of the air with bow and arrow. There have also been a couple of hunting shows on outdoor network that have featured this.

Saw a show from a river in Missouri (I think) where boaters were putting nets on the front and side of the steering console to keep from getting hit by these flying fish while underway!!!

You need to come fish some oxbows here in the Delta. Whittington and Tunica Cut off are bad. I got hit by a 30lber at Tunica 2 years ago and just about knocked me out. The fish did knock a 60 qt ice chest off the back deck.

Yep, asian carp. We have those nasty bast@$ds up here in the Mississippi River.

I can see a bunch of good ole boys out there on the river with shotguns, drinking a cold beer saying. "Hey man, hold my beer and watch this"

DD we do just that, We have had a skeet shoot off the back of my party barge. Get in some 5 foot water and trim the motor up. PULL!!!!
