Top Ten excuses heard from Grenada lake last Friday by a certain angelic voiced fisherman and a certain angler with the ability to delete posts that shall remain nameless:

10) The sun was in my eyes.
9) Minners will too big, and we had the ones that pulled to the left instead of to the right.
8) It was way too hot or way too cold all day long.
7) No minners.
6) Rods were too long and too short and too flimsy and too stiff
5) Fish were too scattered and too bunched up.
4) Water was too muddy and too clear
3) Wind blew too hard and too little and from the wrong direction or not at all
2) My sickle runners didn't sickle and didn't run, my worm didn't wiggle and my shake didn't shimey and my giggle didn't jiggle.

10) Wife can come get him if he drinks to much and cant find his way back to the ramp
9)Can flag down a ride back home if the big motor aint running
8)Can flag down a ride back home once the trolling battery dies
7)Always has somebody to talk to under the bridge
6)Can always bum a cork off one of his fellow bridge fisherman
5)Can always find the bridge,no need to learn how to operate the GPS
4)Uses the bridge like a roadblock,harasses boaters idling by to obtain fishing info
3)Only structure on the lake that can shade his entire head
2)Thinks that trollers fish under bridges
and the #1 reason he loves fishing around/under bridges......
He is hoping to find a big feet troll under one of them !!

Sticksteer in the lead, IMO.:D I had one ready to go, but it was too similar to that one. I'll have to think on it while fishin' tomorrow.
